At Early Break we have got numerous ways in which you can help out and get involved with our charitable work. Volunteering is a popular choice for many people as it is a fantastic way of supporting a local charity and is a brilliant way of giving back to the community.
There are many other benefits to volunteering and we are keen to support volunteers at Early Break. We can offer many opportunities to individuals such as learning new skills and developing current ones, specialist training, meeting new people and being able to get hands-on with some front-line experience. Not only are all these a fun way to spend any spare time you may have but they are excellent additions to your CV.
What Can I Get Involved With?
We currently have 5 volunteer roles available at Early Break. Some are specific and are tailored towards skills whereas others are for those with
- Holding Families Peer Mentor: Work with our Holding Families teams in Bury and Rochdale to mentor and support service users who are going through the programme.
- Outreach Volunteer: Work with our street-based outreach teams in Bury and Rochdale to engage, inform and educate young people out and about in the community.
- Events Volunteer: Support our fundraising teams with any specific fundraising events they have coming up.
- Collection Tub Coordinator: Could you help our fundraising teams to distribute fundraising tubs in the community? If so, get in touch!
