Vicky Maloney Chief Executive
I have worked for Early Break for ten fantastic years. My first five years at Early Break were a secondment position in Bury Youth Offending Service working in an advocacy role with young people. Since 2005 I have been in a management role in the service and a more recent progression has been to the Area Service Manager. I am responsible for budgets, contracts, business planning and many other aspects of service you can read about on the website. Its an exciting role and I get to help develop ideas so young people and their families get the best service from Early Break.

Janine Day Area Manager for Bury & Rochdale
I have worked on the substance misuse field since 1993. My work over the past 15 years has specifically focussed on developing specialist drug and alcohol services for children, young people and families. My commitments to protect the interests of vulnerable young people has lead me to set up and develop new and existing services across Greater Manchester in both the voluntary and statutory sectors. I have developed substance misuse services in light of many changes occurring nationally and locally in relation to the children’s agenda to ensure children, young people and families get the appropriate provision to meet their needs.

Carl Fletcher Operational manager for East Lancashire
I manage a number of services in East Lancashire including the Alternative Therapy provision, Youth Offending Team and Dual Diagnosis Linkwork, Sexual Exploitation Linkwork and the Diversity work with young people. I also have the pleasure of managing a number of highly skilled workers each with their own specialisms and individuality that support young people to address their substance related needs. My initial interest in the drugs and alcohol field came during the time I spent working with young people in a mentoring capacity, a number of these young people had substance related needs and I would liaise with Early Break to offer further support. I have been employed at Early Break for six years and have worked in a variety of roles including Early Intervention Outreach, Schools Linkwork, Youth Offending Team and Community Advocacy work.
